Utility
There's no clear winner between the Isuzu Ascender and the average midsize SUV as far as transporting cargo. The average midsize SUV will doubtless prove handier than the Isuzu Ascender for those of you with frequent child-cargo. Towing is considerably more the Isuzu Ascender's forte than it is the average midsize SUV's.

Dimensions
The Isuzu Ascender is significantly heavier than the average midsize SUV. The average midsize SUV's tank is roughly the same size as the Isuzu Ascender's, though the Ascender's is a tad bigger. The average midsize SUV and the Isuzu Ascender compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
You definitely won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Isuzu Ascender than with the average midsize SUV, because both offer similar mileage ranges.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer.
