2010 Infiniti M45x Overview
The 2010 Infiniti M45x premium performance sport sedan offers a seemingly infinite number of options including engines, driveline configurations, sports or luxury styling and advanced technology.
With competition from Lexus GS, BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the 2010 Infiniti M45x is powered by a 325-horsepower, 4.5-liter V-8 engine mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. The 2010 Infiniti M45x takes advantage of Infiniti’s Advanced Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive System, which automatically diverts up to 50 percent of the available power to the front wheels, enhancing traction and control when conditions are less than optimal. The M35x receives and EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings are 14 mpg in the city and 20 mpg on the highway.
The 2010 Infiniti M45x sits on standard 18-inch alloy wheels and a long wheelbase of 114.2 inches provides you with room for five passengers and more cargo volume. Standard features include xenon headlights, keyless access with push-button start and heated and cooled front seats. A six-speaker, 6-CD stereo sounds system is also standard, but if you want to go all out, eight-speaker, two-channel or 14-speaker, 5.1-channel surround-sound stereos provided by Bose are optional, as is a navigation system and backup camera. A Sport Package for only rear-wheel drive models adds an advanced rear active steer system, sport-tuned suspension and 19-inch wheels and tires.
Advanced safety technology options include intelligent cruise control, lane departure warning and lane departure prevention systems. A camera recognizes lane markings and adjusts the M45’s speed and distance from them. A preview braking option scans the road ahead for potential hazards, including slower traffic, and pre-loads the brakes for a sharper response. Additional safety features include front-seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, an electronic stability system, traction control, active head restraints and adaptive headlights.
