2010 Infiniti M45 Overview
The 2010 Infiniti M45 premium performance sport sedan offers a seemingly infinite number of options including engines, driveline configurations, sports or luxury styling and advanced technology.
With competition from Lexus GS, BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the 2010 rear-wheel-drive Infiniti M45 is powered by a 325-horsepower, 4.5-liter V-8 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission with drive sport mode. An M45x option is also offered and it uses the same engine but includes Infiniti’s Advanced Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive System. EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings are 16 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway.
The 2010 Infiniti M45 sits on standard 18-inch alloy wheels and a long wheelbase of 114.2 inches provides you with room for five passengers and more cargo volume. Standard features include xenon headlights, moonroof, keyless access with push-button start and heated and cooled front seats. A six-speaker, 6-CD stereo sounds system is also standard, but if you want to go all out, eight-speaker, two-channel or 14-speaker, 5.1-channel surround-sound stereos provided by Bose are optional; as is a navigation system and backup camera. Passengers in the backseat will benefit from DVD player and heated and power-reclining rear seats. A Sport Package for only rear-wheel drive models adds an advanced rear active steer system, sport-tuned suspension and 19-inch wheels and tires.
Advanced safety technology options include intelligent cruise control, lane departure warning and lane departure prevention systems. A camera recognizes lane markings and adjusts the M45’s speed and distance from them. A preview braking option scans the road ahead for potential hazards, including slower traffic, and pre-loads the brakes for a sharper response. Additional safety features include front-seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, an electronic stability system, traction control, active head restraints and adaptive headlights.
