New 2009 Infiniti M45

After going through an extensive redesign last year, the 2009 Infiniti M45 flagship luxury sedan continues to provide unsurpassed luxury, performance and innovation.

New front and rear fascias make the M45 look very aggressive and purposeful. Power comes from a robust 4.5-liter, 325-horsepower V-8 engine with 336 lb.-ft. of torque that supplies the M45 with effortless acceleration and instant passing power. It features titanium intake and exhaust valves, continuously variable valve timing, and a five-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode and Downshift Rev Matching for smooth gear changes and engine control. The M45 gets 16 MPG in the city and 21 MPG on the highway and competes with the Lexus GS, BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

The optional Sport Package provides a sport-tuned suspension to increase driver feel and tighten the chassis, aluminum alloy 19-inch wheels and tires to maximize grip on the road, and Rear Active Steer, which helps the M45 turn into curves with crisp responsiveness and handle with more precision. Infiniti’s Scratch Shield paint is a clear coat resin that self-repairs minor scratches so you don’t have to.

Up front, dual zone automatic temperature control allows driver and front passenger to control their comfort level, while climate-controlled, 10-way power front seats offer the perfect levels of adjustment. The available touch-screen Navigation System features Real-Time Traffic Information, Lane Guidance to help you stay on your path, and 3-D building graphics to give you a clear image of your destination. The optional RearView Monitor helps you see what’s behind the vehicle, displaying a live image in the navigation screen. The available 9.3 GB Music Box hard drive allows you to rip, store, and catalog up to 2,900 digital songs, while the available Bose® Studio Surround sound system features 14 speakers and an Interface System for your iPod®, making your music more dynamic than ever.

Safety features include dual front airbags, seat-mounted side-impact airbags, and roof-mounted curtain side-impact airbags to provide protection for front and rear occupants in a collision. Lane Departure Prevention uses an advanced camera system to help the vehicle stay in its intended lane. 4-wheel disc anti-lock brakes with Brake Assist and available Preview Braking maximize braking control and confidence.
