2013 Infiniti M37 Overview

The 2013 Infiniti M37 is the base model of Infiniti’s flagship M-series of sedans. The M-series also includes the M56 and M35h hybrid, which are covered separately on this site.

For 2013, Infiniti has added new features to several available packages. The Premium Package adds rear sonar and Infiniti Connection, a telematics system that can unlock doors remotely among other things. A new Performance Tire and Wheel Package includes 20-inch rims, performance tires, and larger brakes.

The M37 has a long, lean appearance with a lengthy hood and plenty of curves. It’s a look that’s similar to the one found on the G37 sedan, just larger and with a brash front grille that sits low, nestled between prominent fenders. Exterior features include eighteen-inch alloy wheels, xenon high-intensity-discharge headlights, and heated, power-folding side mirrors.

Under the hood, the rear-wheel drive M37 features a 330-hp, 3.7-liter V-6 that makes 270 pounds-feet of torque and is mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. The M37 is also offered in an all-wheel drive version, the M37x, which is covered separately. Infiniti also offers its Infiniti Drive system, which gives the driver the ability to modify the drivetrain settings for different road conditions or driving styles. Fuel economy figures check in at 18/26 mpg city/highway.

Inside, the M37 has a spacious cabin and plenty of premium features come standard, including USB/iPod and Bluetooth connectivity, heated front seats, leather upholstery, a power moonroof, and push-button start. For the sake of simplicity, Infiniti offers many of its optional features in the form of packages which bundle them together. Through various packages, a navigation system, Bose stereo, heated steering wheel, and heated and cooled front seats are all available to spruce up the M37 even more.

Blind spot and lane departure warning systems are optional, as is Infiniti's Lane Departure Prevention system, which uses light braking to keep the M37 from drifting into an unintended lane. Standard safety features include six airbags, active front head restraints, antilock brakes, a backup camera, and an electronic stability system. A Blind Spot Intervention system, adaptive headlights, and a collision warning system are optional.
