2011 Infiniti G25x Overview
For added traction and handling from your luxury sedan, the all-new 2011 Infiniti G25x sedan is ready and willing.
The 2011 G25x is similar to the G37x sedan, and fills the slot where the base G37x sedan once occupied. The main difference is the engine. The 2011 G25x features a 218-horsepower, 2.5-liter V-6 and is mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. What seperates the G25x from the normal G25, is its all-wheel drive system. The G25x boasts Infiniti’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, which instantly adapts to the changing conditions of the road by automatically diverting up to 50% of the power to the front wheels when needed. For added control in snowy conditions, the Snow Mode provides increased throttle sensitivity for smoother acceleration and less wheel slip and traction loss.
The addition of all-wheel drive is barely visible in terms of fuel economy. The 2011 Infiniti G25x receives 19 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway and competes with the BMW 3 Series, Lexus IS, Audi A4, Cadillac CTS, and Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
Unlike the regular G25, which has two trims: base and Journey, the G25x shares the same features of the upscale Journey. That means that you can expect fog lights, LED rear brake lights, high intensity discharge xenon headlights, dual power heated outside mirrors, 17-inch triple 5-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels, remote windows, and dual chrome exhaust pipes as standard equipment. A power sliding tinted glass moonroof is optional.
Luxurious interior amenities are everywhere in the 2011 Infiniti G25x. 8-way powered and heated seats up front, leather upholstery, push button start, dual zone climate control, Bluetooth® connectivity, a USB/iPod interface, 7-inch WVGA color display, and steering wheel-mounted controls are all included with a G25x.
When it comes to safety, the 2011 Infiniti G25x sedan features 4-wheel antilock brakes with electronic brake force distribution, and electronic stability and traction control to help keep the car under control at all times. Infiniti’s Advanced Air Bag System with dual-stage front supplemental air bags features seat belt and occupant-classification sensors and adjusts airbag inflation depending on crash severity and seat belt usage. Side-impact front seat and roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental air bags for the front and rear seats are also included. A rearview camera is optional.
Add world-class handling in all conditions to a luxurious sedan and you get the 2011 Infiniti G25x.
