2011 Infiniti EX35 Overview
With seating for five, ample power, and a host of safety and technology features, the 2011 Infiniti EX35 midsize luxury crossover/SUV presents limitless possibilities.
Other than a few tweaks, the 2011 EX35 remains relatively unchanged from last year. Available in base and Journey trim levels, the EX35 is equipped with a 297-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 that is mated to an all-new seven-speed automatic transmission. The EX35 rests on a car-based chassis and has a four-wheel independent suspension for a smooth, comfortable ride. Rear-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel-drive is available for those who are looking to be more rambunctious with their activities. Fuel economy ratings are decent at 17 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. Competition for the 2011 Infiniti EX35 includes the Acura RDX, Land Rover LR2 and BMW X3.
Eighteen-inch wheels are now standard for 2011, while 19-inch wheels are optional. Other sleek exterior features include a dual chrome exhaust, power heated side mirrors, fog lamps, and a power sunroof. For added night vision, the 2011 EX35 Journey offers auto on/off headlights and optional directionally adaptive headlights that swivel in the direction you turn the vehicle.
Inside, the 2011 Infiniti EX35 offers a refined, comfortable interior with plenty of room. Leather upholstery comes standard and those riding along with you will appreciate the 88.5 cubic feet of passenger volume and the 18.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the power-folding second row of seats. Standard interior features include automatic dual-zone climate control as well as heated and powered front seats. The EX35 Journey trim features standard Bluetooth® connectivity. Optional features include voice-activated climate and navigation systems, and an 11-speaker Bose sound system.
When it comes to safety, the 2011 Infiniti EX35 has you and your family covered. Side-impact and side curtain airbags combine with active head restraints to keep occupants safe during an accident. Further safety technologies like a rear-view camera and an electronic stability system with traction control are standard. Optional safety features include a lane departure warning system, forward collision mitigation and intelligent brake assist, and adaptive cruise control. An Around View Monitor uses four cameras located around the EX35 to provide you with an unencumbered outside view of the vehicle and helps eliminate blind spots when parking and maneuvering. Infiniti’s blind spot warning system has been added to the Technology Package for 2011.
If you’re looking for an upscale crossover that’s safe, luxurious, and practical, then the 2011 Infiniti EX35 is an easy choice.
