Drivers with frequent child-duty might favor the Hyundai Santa Fe over the Saturn VUE.

Dimensions
The Saturn VUE's tank is almost the same size as the Hyundai Santa Fe's, though the Hyundai Santa Fe's is a little bigger. The Saturn and the Hyundai Santa Fe compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
You'll most certainly take the VUE for a fill-up almost as often as the Hyundai Santa Fe.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Saturn VUE to the dealership as the Hyundai Santa Fe. The Hyundai Santa Fe isn't much pricier than the Saturn VUE with respect to MSRP.

Handling
With its tighter turning circle, the Santa Fe is quite certainly more maneuverable than the VUE, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the flip side, note that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Hyundai's engine isn't much more massive than the Saturn VUE's. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Hyundai Santa Fe is substantially more powerful than the VUE.

Comfort
The Hyundai is not particularly roomier for your passengers than the Saturn VUE.

Warranty
The basic warranty that comes with the Saturn VUE isn't quite as generous as the Hyundai Santa Fe's.
