Hyundai Santa Fe vs. Jeep Wrangler Review

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the Jeep Wrangler and the Hyundai Santa Fe most definitely handle almost the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Hyundai Santa Fe's engine is substantially smaller than the Jeep Wrangler's. Remember that a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder; however, smaller engines are often cheaper to fix. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Wrangler is substantially more powerful than the Hyundai. Torque equals pickup, and the Jeep Wrangler will have picked up and gone by the time the Hyundai Santa Fe finally gets moving.

Utility
Drivers with frequent child-duty might favor the Hyundai Santa Fe over the Jeep. The Hyundai Santa Fe outpulls the Jeep Wrangler by a big margin.

Convenience
You will quite certainly have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Jeep Wrangler than with the Hyundai Santa Fe.

Comfort
Taller drivers will substantially enjoy the extra head room in the Jeep's front cabin compared to the Hyundai Santa Fe. While the rear of the Hyundai Santa Fe offers a bit more head- and leg-room than the Jeep Wrangler, there frankly isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
The Jeep Wrangler's tank is approximately the same size as the Hyundai Santa Fe's, though the Hyundai Santa Fe's is a little bigger. The Jeep Wrangler and the Hyundai Santa Fe compete for the same parking spaces. The Hyundai's longer wheelbase will result in a smoother, more stable ride; on the other hand, the Wrangler may give a more maneuverable feel in daily traffic.

Cost
The Hyundai Santa Fe won't save you much money at the pump compared to the Wrangler. The Jeep Wrangler will tax your gasoline budget considerably more than the Hyundai Santa Fe will. Regarding MSRP, the Hyundai Santa Fe costs almost as much as the Wrangler (though the Wrangler is a little cheaper).

Warranty
The basic warranty that comes with the Jeep Wrangler isn't quite as generous as the Hyundai Santa Fe's.
