2009 Hyundai Azera Overview
New car buyers have been keeping the 2009 Hyundai Azera within close sight as an amazing package of interior amenities, standard and optional features and desired utility that come together into a full-size sedan of wonderful overall value.

The Azera is offered in two engine levels: the base GLS and its 3.3-liter, 234-horsepower engine, while the Limited provides a 3.8-liter, 263-horsepower engine for optimal acceleration. Both trims showcase a standard V-6 mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and is noted for minimal road noise and both quick and smooth shifting.

Competing in the large sedan category with the Toyota Avalon, Chrysler 300 and Buick Lacerne, the Azera presents available luxuries like a powered tilt and telescoping steering column, powered rear sunshade and premium interior leather upholstery. Gas mileage is average with others in its class, gaining 17-18 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway.

Infusing luxury within the interior cabin, the Azera uses top-shelf materials for control knobs and panel trims. Space is abound and thought has been extended to a backseat that provides ample leg and headroom for almost any height. The Azera seats five and there is enough cargo room to allow expansive packing for any type of road trip. The Limited upgrade package adds a power-adjustable steering column and pedals, driver memory functions, wood steering wheel and door pulls, rain-sensing wipers and a 12-speaker Logic 7 surround-sound system with an in-dash six-CD changer.

Hyundai has scored well on many of the major manufacturer safety tests. The Azera comes equipped with antilock disc brakes, traction control, stability control, active front head restraints, front-seat side airbags, rear outboard side airbags and full-length side curtain airbags.

If you are looking for a well-balanced candidate with a smooth ride, powerful engine and lavish interior, the 2009 Hyundai Azera has everything full-size sedan buyers are looking to vote for at a more than reasonable price.
