Performance
With that kind of horsepower, both the GMC Sierra 1500 and the H3T are legitimate speedsters.

Handling
With its tighter turning radius, the GMC Sierra 1500 is most certainly more agile than the HUMMER H3T, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; however, note that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The GMC Sierra 1500's engine is considerably larger than the H3T's. Keep in mind that larger engines may use more gas than smaller ones. Torque equals pickup, and the GMC Sierra 1500 will have picked up and gone by the time the HUMMER H3T finally gets moving. The Sierra 1500 packs quite a wallop compared to the HUMMER H3T as far as torque, which is the force that lets you accelerate quickly.

Utility
The GMC Sierra 1500 is a better choice than the HUMMER H3T with respect to transporting cargo, especially if you frequently need to carry a lot of luggage or dogs. Drivers with frequent child-duty might favor the GMC over the HUMMER H3T. Towing is substantially more the GMC's forte than it is the HUMMER H3T's.

Convenience
The HUMMER's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the GMC Sierra 1500.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Sierra 1500 offers a bit more head room than the H3T, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The HUMMER H3T is not particularly roomier for your passengers than the GMC Sierra 1500.

Dimensions
Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Sierra 1500 than the HUMMER H3T because of its larger tank. The GMC Sierra 1500 and the HUMMER H3T compete for the same parking spaces. The GMC Sierra 1500's shorter wheelbase will likely give a sprier feel in daily traffic. On the other hand, the H3T is likely to have a smoother, more stable ride.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The HUMMER H3T is substantially cheaper to get to the dealership than the GMC. There really isn't much of a difference in gas mileage here, but if you must know, the GMC Sierra 1500 is somewhat more economical than the HUMMER H3T. The GMC is considerably less pricey than the HUMMER H3T as far as MSRP.

Warranty
The basic warranty that comes with the GMC Sierra 1500 isn't quite as generous as the HUMMER H3T's.
