HUMMER H3T vs. Ford F-350 Review

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, both the Ford and the HUMMER H3T are genuine speedsters.

Handling
With their comparable turning radii, the H3T and the Ford most certainly handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The HUMMER's engine is significantly smaller than the F-350's. Remember that smaller engines can be stressed more; on the flip side, smaller engines typically get better gas mileage. Torque equals pickup, and the Ford F-350 will have picked up and gone by the time the HUMMER H3T finally gets moving. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Ford F-350 is considerably more powerful than the HUMMER H3T.

Utility
The Ford F-350's larger trunk will accommodate more massive items than the HUMMER. The Ford F-350 will most certainly prove more practical than the HUMMER H3T for those of you with frequent child-cargo. The F-350 is a better choice than the HUMMER H3T as far as hauling capacity, especially if you often need to carry a lot of suitcases or big dogs. The Ford F-350 outpulls the HUMMER by a big margin.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the F-350 offers a bit more head room than the HUMMER H3T, there honestly isn't much of a difference. The ampler interior dimensions of the H3T make it considerably more spacious for your passengers than the Ford F-350.

Dimensions
The F-350 is significantly more bulky than the HUMMER H3T. The HUMMER H3T's tank is approximately the same size as the Ford F-350's, though the Ford F-350's is slightly bigger. The HUMMER and the Ford F-350 compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The HUMMER is substantially cheaper to get to the dealership than the Ford F-350. The HUMMER H3T isn't much less expensive than the Ford F-350 with respect to MSRP.

Warranty
The basic warranty that comes with the Ford isn't quite as generous as the HUMMER's.
