HUMMER H3 SUV vs. Saab 9-7X Review

The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Saab to the dealership as the H3 SUV. There really isn't much of a difference in gas mileage here, but if you must know, the Saab 9-7X is a tad more economical than the HUMMER H3 SUV. Regarding gas mileage, the Saab 9-7X bests the HUMMER H3 SUV. The HUMMER H3 SUV isn't much less expensive than the Saab 9-7X when it comes to MSRP.

Utility
Neither the Saab 9-7X nor the HUMMER has a marked advantage when it comes to seating capacity. There's no clear winner between the Saab 9-7X and the HUMMER H3 SUV when it comes to hauling capacity.

Convenience
You most certainly won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the HUMMER H3 SUV than with the Saab, as both offer comparable ranges.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the HUMMER H3 SUV offers a bit more head room than the 9-7X, there frankly isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the 9-7X provides a bit more head- and leg-room than the HUMMER H3 SUV, there frankly isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
The Saab 9-7X's tank is approximately the same size as the HUMMER H3 SUV's, though the HUMMER H3 SUV's is somewhat larger. The HUMMER H3 SUV and the Saab 9-7X compete for the same parking spaces.

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, both the Saab 9-7X and the HUMMER H3 SUV are genuine speedsters.

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the HUMMER H3 SUV and the Saab 9-7X most certainly handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The HUMMER H3 SUV's engine is significantly smaller than the Saab's. Keep in mind that smaller engines can be stressed more; on the other hand, smaller engines are often cheaper to fix. Torque equals pickup, and the 9-7X will have picked up and gone by the time the H3 SUV finally gets moving. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Saab is substantially more powerful than the HUMMER.

The HUMMER H3 SUV and the Saab 9-7X have the same basic after-sale protection.
