HUMMER H3 SUV vs. Honda Pilot Review

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the Honda to the dealership as the HUMMER H3. The H3 is significantly less costly than the Honda Pilot with respect to MSRP.

Utility
The Honda's bigger trunk will accommodate more sizeable things than the HUMMER H3. The Honda Pilot will most definitely prove friendlier than the HUMMER H3 for those of you with frequent child-cargo.

Comfort
Taller drivers will substantially enjoy the extra head room in the HUMMER H3's front cabin compared to the Honda Pilot. The Honda Pilot is not particularly more spacious for your passengers than the H3.

Dimensions
The HUMMER is a bit heavier than the Honda Pilot. The Pilot's tank is approximately the same size as the HUMMER H3's, though the HUMMER H3's is a bit more capacious. The HUMMER H3 rides lower than the Honda, which is a good thing for its center of gravity and ease of access. The HUMMER H3 and the Honda compete for the same parking spaces.

Handling
The H3 has quite a bit bigger tires than the Honda Pilot. Note that wider tires could improve handling, while smaller tires could provide better handling in deep snow. With their similar turning radiuses, the HUMMER H3 and the Honda Pilot quite certainly handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Honda's engine is a bit smaller than the HUMMER H3's, but not terribly so. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the HUMMER H3 isn't much more powerful than the Honda Pilot. The Honda Pilot has no lessons to learn when it comes to pickup from the HUMMER H3.

Overview
The basic warranty that comes with the Honda isn't quite as generous as the HUMMER H3's.
