With that kind of horsepower, both the Acura MDX and the HUMMER H3 SUV are genuine speedsters.

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the HUMMER H3 SUV and the Acura MDX quite certainly handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Acura's engine isn't much more massive than the HUMMER H3 SUV's. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Acura MDX is significantly more powerful than the H3 SUV.

Utility
The Acura will most certainly prove more convenient than the HUMMER for those of you with frequent kid-cargo. There's no clear winner between the HUMMER and the Acura in terms of transporting cargo. The H3 SUV outpulls the Acura MDX by a big margin.

The HUMMER's fuel tank will need to be replenished somewhat more often than the unit in the Acura MDX.

Taller drivers will considerably enjoy the extra head room in the HUMMER's front cabin compared to the Acura MDX. While the rear of the Acura MDX provides a bit more head- and leg-room than the HUMMER, there honestly isn't much of a difference.

The Acura MDX's tank is almost the same size as the HUMMER H3 SUV's, though the HUMMER H3 SUV's is somewhat bigger. The HUMMER H3 SUV and the Acura compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the HUMMER H3 SUV to the dealership as the Acura MDX. When it comes to fuel economy, the MDX bests the HUMMER H3 SUV. Regarding MSRP, the Acura MDX costs roughly as much as the HUMMER H3 SUV (though the HUMMER H3 SUV is a tad cheaper).
