HUMMER H2 SUV vs. Cadillac SRX Review

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, both the HUMMER and the Cadillac SRX are genuine sportscars. With its tiny horsepower-to-weight ratio, the Cadillac SRX will knock you back into your seat when you step on the gas.

Handling
The HUMMER H2 has considerably bigger tires than the Cadillac SRX. Keep in mind that bigger tires can improve handling, while narrower tires may improve gas mileage. With its tighter turning radius, the Cadillac SRX is quite certainly more maneuverable than the HUMMER H2, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the other hand, keep in mind that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The HUMMER has a bigger engine than the Cadillac SRX. Remember that smaller engines are often cheaper to fix, but smaller engines can be stressed more. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the H2 is markedly more powerful than the Cadillac SRX.

Utility
The HUMMER H2's bigger trunk will accommodate more massive things than the Cadillac. The Cadillac SRX will definitely prove friendlier than the H2 for those of you with frequent child-cargo. The HUMMER H2 outpulls the Cadillac SRX by a big margin.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the H2 offers a bit more head room than the Cadillac, there really isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the Cadillac offers a bit more head- and leg-room than the HUMMER H2, there honestly isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
The HUMMER H2 is tremendously heavier than the Cadillac SRX. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the HUMMER than the Cadillac because of its larger tank. The HUMMER H2 rides lower than the Cadillac, which is a good thing for its center of gravity and ease of access. The HUMMER and the SRX compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Cadillac SRX is quite a bit cheaper to get to the dealership than the HUMMER H2. The HUMMER H2 is quite a bit more expensive than the Cadillac SRX with respect to MSRP.

Overview
The Cadillac SRX and the HUMMER have the same basic warranty. Regarding warranty against corrosion, the HUMMER H2 and the Cadillac SRX have the same coverage.

Other
The Cadillac SRX emits fewer smog-forming pollutants per 15,000 miles than the HUMMER H2.
