HUMMER H2 SUT vs. Porsche Cayenne Review

Utility
The Porsche Cayenne and the HUMMER H2 SUT can accommodate the same number of passengers. The HUMMER H2 SUT is likely a better choice than the Porsche when it comes to hauling capacity, especially if you often need to carry a lot of equipment or sizeable animals. There's little the HUMMER H2 SUT can tow that the Porsche cannot.

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, both the Porsche Cayenne and the HUMMER H2 SUT are true speedsters.

Dimensions
The HUMMER is tremendously heavier than the Cayenne. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the H2 SUT than the Cayenne because of its bigger tank. The Porsche Cayenne and the HUMMER H2 SUT compete for the same parking spaces. The Porsche Cayenne's shorter wheelbase may produce a less-settled highway ride but a nimbler feel in daily traffic than the HUMMER H2 SUT.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the HUMMER to the dealership as the Porsche Cayenne. The HUMMER H2 SUT is significantly less pricey than the Porsche Cayenne in terms of MSRP.

Handling
With its tighter turning circle, the Cayenne is quite certainly nimbler than the HUMMER H2 SUT, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the other hand, bear in mind that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The HUMMER H2 SUT has a more massive engine than the Cayenne. Keep in mind that smaller engines typically get better gas mileage, but a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the H2 SUT is substantially more powerful than the Porsche Cayenne. Torque equals pickup, and the H2 SUT will have picked up and gone by the time the Porsche finally gets moving.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the H2 SUT offers a bit more head room than the Porsche, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The HUMMER H2 SUT offers more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Porsche does.

Warranty
The HUMMER H2 SUT and the Cayenne have the same basic warranty.
