HUMMER H2 SUT vs. Cadillac SRX Review

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Cadillac SRX is significantly cheaper to get to the dealership than the HUMMER H2 SUT. In terms of MSRP, the HUMMER costs considerably more than the Cadillac SRX.

Utility
The Cadillac will definitely prove more convenient than the HUMMER H2 SUT for those of you with frequent kid-cargo. Towing is significantly more the HUMMER H2 SUT's forte than it is the Cadillac SRX's.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the H2 SUT offers a bit more head room than the SRX, there really isn't much of a difference. The Cadillac SRX is not particularly more spacious for your passengers than the H2 SUT.

Dimensions
The HUMMER H2 SUT is tremendously heavier than the SRX. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the HUMMER than the Cadillac because of its larger tank. The HUMMER H2 SUT and the SRX compete for the same parking spaces.

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, both the HUMMER and the SRX are legitimate sportscars.

Handling
With its tighter turning circle, the Cadillac SRX is definitely more maneuverable than the HUMMER H2 SUT, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the flip side, keep in mind that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The HUMMER H2 SUT has a bigger engine than the Cadillac SRX. Keep in mind that smaller engines are often cheaper to fix, but a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder. The HUMMER H2 SUT packs quite a wallop compared to the Cadillac in terms of torque, which is roughly equivalent to acceleration. The Cadillac could learn a lesson or two from the HUMMER as far as pickup.
