Honda Overview:
For 2009, Honda didn’t introduce any new cars, but there are plenty of redesigns and makeovers to last year’s fleet.  The Civic compact coupe and sedan, and Civic Hybrid receive minor facelifts consisting of a front bumper redesign and fresh interior styling.

For the Civic, two new trim levels, the LX-S and DX-VP add new equipment packages for sport-minded and value minded buyers. Bluetooth connectivity, USB options and an electronic stability system are now available.  The Civic gets above average fuel economy, while the Civic Hybrid has the second-best city mpg (40) of any vehicle.

Coming off of last year’s redesign, Honda’s midsize Accord sedan and coupe stays relatively unchanged.  Each version features a variety of trim levels, ranging from thrifty 4-cylinder models to luxurious leather-appointed V-6 models – so there’s an Accord to satisfy almost everyone.

Honda keeps the fuel efficient dream alive with the freshly redesigned subcompact Fit hatchback. Replacing the original model that came to the U.S. in 2006, the Fit is larger is more contemporary-looking.  The four-door Fit features an in-dash navigation system and a rear seat that folds flat. All of those goodies aside, the Fit boasts 28 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway.

Open-air lovers will enjoy putting the top down on the high-revving and agile Honda S2000 roadster.   Honda is not a one-trick pony and knows how to make stylish vehicles for families and those who put the “U” in SUV.

The compact CR-V crossover has above average fuel efficiency, but no significant changes from last year. Honda’s tall, boxy SUV crossover, the Element receives significant interior and exterior changes, including a rearview backup camera, USB hookup and GPS navigation with voice activation. The midsize crossover Pilot also gets a restyled interior and exterior. The Pilot is now available in a new high-end Touring trim level and a more fuel efficient V-6 engine.

If those aren’t big enough, Honda’s minivan, the Odyssey has enough cargo space to haul the kids to and from practice with enough room for groceries. The EX-L now features a power liftgate, Bluetooth connectivity and optional navigation system.

Honda’s truck, the Ridgeline underwent 50 changes from last year’s model—it’s first since 2006. A new bike mount, 18-inch wheels and bed extender for motorcycles will aid you in your adventurous quests.
