Honda Fit vs. Kia Rio5 Review

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the Kia Rio5 and the Honda definitely handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Kia Rio5's engine isn't much bigger than the Honda Fit's. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Kia Rio5 isn't much more powerful than the Honda Fit. The Honda Fit has no lessons to learn with respect to pickup from the Kia Rio5.

Utility
Neither the Fit nor the Kia Rio5 has a marked advantage with respect to seating capacity.

Convenience
You quite certainly won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Honda Fit than with the Kia Rio5, because both offer comparable ranges.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Honda Fit offers a bit more head room than the Kia Rio5, there really isn't much of a difference. The Honda Fit is not particularly roomier for your passengers than the Kia Rio5.

Dimensions
The Honda Fit's tank is about the same size as the Kia Rio5's, though the Kia Rio5's is somewhat bigger. The Kia Rio5 and the Honda Fit compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Kia Rio5 to the dealership as the Honda Fit. The Kia Rio5 is significantly less pricey than the Honda Fit as far as MSRP.

Warranty
The basic after-sale protection that comes with the Fit isn't quite as generous as the Kia Rio5's.
