Honda Fit vs. Chevrolet Aveo Review

Performance
Both the Honda Fit and the Chevrolet Aveo are likely to feel a tad slow because of their high horsepower-to-weight ratio.

Handling
The Honda Fit and the Chevrolet Aveo have about comparable tires. With their comparable turning circles, the Chevrolet Aveo and the Honda Fit very likely handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Fit's engine is somewhat smaller than the Chevrolet Aveo's, but not terribly so. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Chevrolet Aveo isn't much more powerful than the Fit.

Utility
Neither the Honda Fit nor the Chevrolet has a marked advantage as far as seating capacity.

Convenience
You'll likely take the Aveo for a fill-up about as often as the Honda Fit. You very likely won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Chevrolet Aveo than with the Honda, as both offer comparable mileage ranges.

Comfort
Taller drivers will markedly enjoy the extra head room in the Honda's front cabin compared to the Chevrolet Aveo. While the rear of the Aveo provides a bit more head- and leg-room than the Honda Fit, there frankly isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
The Honda is a bit heavier than the Aveo. The Honda Fit's tank is roughly the same size as the Aveo's, though the Aveo's is slightly bigger. The Chevrolet and the Honda Fit compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the Chevrolet Aveo to the dealership as the Honda Fit. As far as gas mileage, the Fit beats the Chevrolet Aveo. There really isn't much of a difference in gas mileage here, but if you must know, the Honda Fit is a little more economical than the Chevrolet Aveo. The Fit is markedly more expensive than the Chevrolet Aveo when it comes to MSRP. Regarding purchase price, the Chevrolet Aveo costs quite a bit less than the Honda Fit.

Overview
The Chevrolet Aveo and the Honda Fit have the same basic after-sale protection.
