A choice of the regular (135-inch) and extended (155-inch) wheelbase is available for the Savana 2500 cargo van. This rear-wheel drive van has a six-speed automatic transmission with tap-up/tap-down driver shift control, auto grade braking and tow/haul mode. Towing capacity for the Savana 2500 is rated up to 10,000 pounds with an available heavy-duty trailering equipment package.

Maximum cargo volume for the regular-wheelbase Savana 2500 is 270 cubic feet, and the extended-wheelbase van tops out at over 313 cubic feet. A swing-out 60/40- passenger door and rear doors are standard, and a driver-side swing-out doors may be added to the regular-wheelbase Savana to maximize ease of access to tools and cargo.river and front passenger airbags are standard in the cargo version, and head curtain side-impact airbags are an available upgrade. Maximum towing/trailering capacity for the passenger Savana 2500 is rated at 9900 pounds. Power steering comes standard, and cruise control is available.

The passenger Savana 2500 seats up to 12 passengers and comes standard with a swing out 60/40 passenger-side door, with an available sliding passenger-side door upgrade. An available chrome appearance package and chrome rear bumpers add a touch of style to this functional passenger van, and outside rearview mirrors may be upgraded to power operated, heated mirrors.

An available rear auxiliary heater and air conditioner may be added to the standard front air conditioner, and the vinyl seating may be upgraded to custom cloth for added comfort. An available leather-wrapped steering wheel with mounted audio controls and tilt-adjustable steering wheel are available. The AM/FM stereo comes standard, and may be upgraded with a CD player, CD/MP3 player with USB port and six-speakers. Bluetooth calling and SiriusXM radio with 3-month trial are also available upgrades.

The passenger Savana 2500 comes with standard frontal and head curtain side impact airbags, for first, second and third row passengers. OnStar, with automatic crash response and other emergency and roadside services, is also standard and includes a free six-month subscription. Additional safety features include a stability enhancement system, traction control, four-wheel disc antilock brakes, and a tire pressure monitoring system. Power door locks with lockout protection and a pass key theft-deterrent system provide additional safety and security.
