GMC Envoy vs. Saturn OUTLOOK Review

Handling
With its tighter turning circle, the Envoy is quite certainly more maneuverable than the OUTLOOK, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the flip side, note that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The GMC Envoy's engine is substantially bigger than the Saturn OUTLOOK's. Note that more massive engines may use more gas than smaller ones. The Saturn has no lessons to learn with respect to torque from the GMC.

Utility
The Saturn OUTLOOK will most definitely prove friendlier than the GMC Envoy for those of you with frequent child-cargo. Towing is substantially more the GMC Envoy's forte than it is the Saturn OUTLOOK's.

Convenience
The Envoy's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the Saturn OUTLOOK.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Saturn OUTLOOK offers a bit more head room than the GMC Envoy, there really isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the GMC Envoy offers a bit more head- and leg-room than the Saturn OUTLOOK, there really isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
The GMC and the Saturn OUTLOOK compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the GMC Envoy to the dealership as the Saturn OUTLOOK. Producing an exact fuel economy evaluation is so hard that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though the Saturn is the winner regarding fuel economy. In terms of gas mileage, the Saturn bests the Envoy. The Saturn OUTLOOK isn't much less pricey than the Envoy regarding MSRP.

Warranty
The Saturn OUTLOOK and the GMC Envoy have the same basic warranty.
