Handling
With its tighter turning circle, the GMC Envoy is most certainly more maneuverable than the Nissan Pathfinder, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the other hand, keep in mind that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.
Drivetrain
The Nissan Pathfinder's engine is a tad smaller than the GMC Envoy's, but not terribly so.
Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Nissan Pathfinder isn't much more powerful than the Envoy.
The GMC Envoy has no lessons to learn with respect to torque from the Nissan Pathfinder.
Utility
The Nissan Pathfinder will quite certainly prove friendlier than the GMC Envoy for those of you with frequent child-cargo.
Convenience
You'll most definitely take the Nissan Pathfinder for a fill-up almost as often as the GMC Envoy.
Comfort
While the front cabin in the GMC Envoy offers a bit more head room than the Nissan Pathfinder, there frankly isn't much of a difference.
The GMC Envoy provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Nissan does.
Dimensions
The Nissan's tank is roughly the same size as the Envoy's, though the GMC Envoy's is slightly larger.
The GMC and the Nissan Pathfinder compete for the same parking spaces.
Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the Envoy to the dealership as the Pathfinder.
When it comes to MSRP, the GMC Envoy costs about as much as the Nissan (though the Nissan is a little cheaper).
Overview
The GMC Envoy and the Pathfinder have the same basic warranty.
