GMC Envoy vs. Nissan Murano Review

There's no clear winner between the Nissan Murano and the GMC Envoy with respect to hauling capacity. The GMC Envoy and the Nissan can accommodate the same number of passengers. Towing is quite a bit more the GMC Envoy's forte than it is the Nissan Murano's.

Dimensions
The GMC Envoy is substantially heavier than the Nissan Murano. The Nissan's tank is roughly the same size as the GMC Envoy's, though the GMC Envoy's is slightly more capacious. The GMC Envoy rides lower than the Nissan Murano, which is a good thing for its center of gravity and ease of access. The Nissan Murano and the GMC Envoy compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
You'll very likely have to take the GMC Envoy for a fill-up more often than the Nissan Murano because of its tank size and gas mileage.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs approximately the same to get the Murano to the dealership as the GMC Envoy. The GMC Envoy pales in comparison to the Nissan Murano when it comes to fuel economy. When it comes to fuel economy, the Murano has the GMC Envoy beat. The GMC Envoy isn't much more expensive than the Nissan Murano regarding MSRP.

Handling
The GMC Envoy and the Nissan Murano have approximately similar tires. With their comparable turning circles, the GMC Envoy and the Nissan Murano quite certainly handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Nissan Murano's engine is substantially smaller than the GMC Envoy's. Note that a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder; on the flip side, smaller engines are often cheaper to fix. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the GMC is markedly more powerful than the Nissan Murano.
