With their comparable turning circles, the GMC Envoy and the X3 quite certainly handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

The X3's engine is considerably smaller than the Envoy's. Keep in mind that smaller engines can be stressed more; on the other hand, smaller engines are often cheaper to fix.
