GMC Envoy vs. BMW X3 Review

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the GMC Envoy and the X3 quite certainly handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The X3's engine is considerably smaller than the Envoy's. Keep in mind that smaller engines can be stressed more; on the other hand, smaller engines are often cheaper to fix. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Envoy is considerably more powerful than the BMW X3.

Utility
Neither the GMC Envoy nor the BMW X3 has a marked advantage as far as seating capacity. The Envoy is a better choice than the X3 in terms of transporting cargo, especially if you often need to carry a lot of stuff or sizeable animals. The GMC Envoy outpulls the BMW by a large margin.

Convenience
You quite certainly won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the BMW than with the GMC, because both offer similar mileage ranges.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the GMC Envoy offers a bit more head room than the BMW X3, there really isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the GMC Envoy offers a bit more head- and leg-room than the BMW X3, there really isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the GMC Envoy than the BMW X3 because of its bigger tank. The BMW and the GMC Envoy compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the GMC Envoy to the dealership as the BMW X3. Regarding fuel economy, the BMW X3 has the GMC Envoy beat. With respect to MSRP, the BMW X3 costs significantly more than the GMC Envoy.

Warranty
The basic warranty that comes with the GMC Envoy isn't quite as generous as the BMW X3's.
