GMC Envoy vs. Audi Q5 Review

Neither the GMC nor the Audi Q5 has a marked advantage with respect to seating capacity. The GMC Envoy is a better choice than the Audi Q5 when it comes to transporting cargo, especially if you often need to carry a lot of gear or massive animals. The Envoy outpulls the Audi Q5 by a big margin.

Dimensions
The Audi Q5's tank is roughly the same size as the Envoy's, though the GMC's is a tad bigger. The Audi Q5 and the GMC compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
The GMC Envoy's fuel tank will need to be replenished a tad more often than the unit in the Audi.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs approximately the same to get the Envoy to the dealership as the Audi Q5. As far as gas mileage, the Audi Q5 has the Envoy beat. Producing a precise gas mileage evaluation is so hard that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though the Audi Q5 is the winner when it comes to gas mileage. The Audi Q5 isn't much costlier than the GMC Envoy as far as MSRP.

Handling
With their comparable turning radii, the GMC Envoy and the Audi most certainly handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Q5's engine is significantly smaller than the GMC's. Keep in mind that a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder; however, smaller engines typically get better gas mileage. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the GMC Envoy is significantly more powerful than the Audi.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Audi Q5 offers a bit more head room than the Envoy, there honestly isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the GMC offers a bit more head- and leg-room than the Q5, there honestly isn't much of a difference.

Warranty
The basic warranty that comes with the GMC isn't quite as generous as the Audi Q5's.
