GMC Canyon vs. Mazda B4000 Review

Drivers with frequent child-duty might favor the GMC Canyon over the Mazda B4000. There's no clear winner between the B4000 and the GMC Canyon in terms of transporting cargo. There's little the GMC Canyon can tow that the Mazda B4000 cannot.

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, the GMC Canyon is a legitimate speedster. As far as horsepower, the GMC Canyon packs quite a punch and will knock the Mazda B4000 down a few rungs. On the other hand, remember that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Dimensions
The Canyon's tank is roughly the same size as the B4000's, though the Mazda B4000's is a bit larger. The GMC and the B4000 compete for the same parking spaces. The B4000's longer wheelbase will likely result in a smoother, more stable ride; however, the GMC Canyon may give a more maneuverable feel in daily traffic.

Convenience
You'll most certainly have to take the B4000 for a fill-up more often than the Canyon because of its tank size and fuel economy.

The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs approximately the same to get the Mazda B4000 to the dealership as the GMC Canyon. In terms of fuel economy, the GMC Canyon beats the Mazda B4000. The Canyon will save you money at the pump compared to the Mazda. The Mazda isn't much less costly than the GMC as far as MSRP. The Mazda B4000 will cost you a lots_of_money in gas every year compared to the Canyon.

Handling
With its tighter turning radius, the Canyon is quite certainly sprier than the Mazda, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the flip side, remember that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Mazda's engine is significantly larger than the GMC's. Bear in mind that bigger engines may use more gas than smaller ones. The Mazda B4000 packs quite a punch compared to the GMC regarding torque, which is the force that lets you accelerate quickly.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Canyon offers a bit more head room than the Mazda B4000, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The ampler interior dimensions of the Mazda B4000 make it substantially more spacious for your passengers than the GMC Canyon.
