The Canyon will most definitely prove more convenient than the Mazda B2300 for those of you with frequent kid-cargo. There's no clear winner between the GMC Canyon and the Mazda B2300 in terms of transporting cargo. The Canyon outpulls the Mazda by a massive margin.

Performance
With respect to horsepower, the GMC packs quite a punch and will knock the B2300 down a few rungs. However, remember that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums. With that kind of horsepower, the GMC is a legitimate speedster.
