GMC Canyon vs. Ford F-150 SuperCrew Review

Handling
With its tighter turning circle, the Canyon is most certainly more maneuverable than the Ford F-150 SuperCrew, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; however, bear in mind that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Ford F-150 SuperCrew's engine is tremendously bigger than the GMC Canyon's. Keep in mind that more massive engines may use more gas than smaller ones. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Ford F-150 SuperCrew is tremendously more powerful than the Canyon. Torque equals pickup, and the Ford F-150 SuperCrew will have picked up and gone by the time the GMC Canyon finally gets moving.

Utility
The Ford is a better choice than the GMC Canyon regarding transporting cargo, especially if you frequently need to carry a lot of stuff or massive animals. Neither the GMC Canyon nor the Ford F-150 SuperCrew has a marked advantage when it comes to seating capacity. Towing is significantly more the Ford F-150 SuperCrew's forte than it is the GMC Canyon's.

Convenience
The Canyon's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the F-150 SuperCrew.

Comfort
Taller drivers will substantially enjoy the extra head room in the Ford F-150 SuperCrew's front cabin compared to the GMC Canyon. The Ford F-150 SuperCrew provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the GMC does.

Dimensions
The Ford F-150 SuperCrew is tremendously more bulky than the GMC Canyon. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Ford than the GMC Canyon because of its bigger tank. The GMC Canyon fits in smaller parking spaces than the F-150 SuperCrew. The Ford F-150 SuperCrew's longer wheelbase will result in a smoother, more stable ride; on the other hand, the GMC Canyon may give a more agile feel in daily traffic.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The GMC is considerably cheaper to get to the dealership than the Ford F-150 SuperCrew. Producing an exact gas mileage evaluation is so difficult that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though the Canyon is the winner as far as gas mileage. The Ford F-150 SuperCrew requires a lot of gas compared to the GMC Canyon. In terms of MSRP, the F-150 SuperCrew costs tremendously more than the GMC Canyon. The F-150 SuperCrew will cost you a lots_of_money in gas every year compared to the Canyon.

Warranty
The Ford F-150 SuperCrew and the GMC Canyon have the same basic after-sale protection.
