GMC Acadia vs. Volvo XC60 Review

Drivers with frequent child-duty might favor the GMC Acadia over the Volvo XC60. Towing is substantially more the Volvo XC60's forte than it is the GMC Acadia's.

Dimensions
Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the GMC Acadia than the Volvo XC60 because of its bigger tank. The Volvo XC60 and the GMC Acadia compete for the same parking spaces. The Volvo's shorter wheelbase will give a more agile feel in daily traffic. On the other hand, the GMC Acadia is likely to have a smoother, more stable ride.

Convenience
You'll most certainly have to take the Volvo XC60 for a fill-up more often than the GMC Acadia because of its tank size and gas mileage.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the GMC Acadia to the dealership as the XC60. The GMC Acadia won't save you much money at the pump compared to the Volvo XC60. In terms of MSRP, the Volvo XC60 doesn't cost much less than the Acadia.

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the Volvo and the GMC Acadia definitely handle almost the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Volvo XC60's engine is significantly smaller than the GMC Acadia's. Keep in mind that smaller engines can be stressed more; on the other hand, smaller engines are often cheaper to fix. The GMC has no lessons to learn as far as pickup from the Volvo XC60.

Comfort
Taller drivers will significantly enjoy the extra head room in the Acadia's front cabin compared to the Volvo XC60. While the rear of the GMC Acadia offers a bit more head- and leg-room than the Volvo XC60, there honestly isn't much of a difference.
