GMC Acadia vs. Nissan Pathfinder Review

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the Nissan Pathfinder and the Acadia most definitely handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The GMC Acadia's engine is a tad smaller than the Pathfinder's, but not terribly so. The GMC has no lessons to learn regarding torque from the Nissan Pathfinder.

Utility
The GMC Acadia will quite certainly prove friendlier than the Nissan Pathfinder for those of you with frequent child-cargo. Towing is significantly more the Nissan Pathfinder's forte than it is the GMC's.

Convenience
The Nissan Pathfinder's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the GMC Acadia.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the GMC Acadia offers a bit more head room than the Nissan, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The ampler interior dimensions of the GMC Acadia make it significantly roomier for your passengers than the Pathfinder.

The Nissan Pathfinder's tank is about the same size as the GMC Acadia's, though the GMC Acadia's is somewhat larger. The Nissan Pathfinder and the GMC compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the GMC Acadia to the dealership as the Pathfinder. Producing an exact gas mileage evaluation is so hard that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though the GMC Acadia is the winner regarding fuel economy. The Nissan Pathfinder will tax your gas budget significantly more than the GMC Acadia will. The Nissan Pathfinder isn't much less pricey than the GMC Acadia with respect to MSRP.
