GMC Acadia vs. Jeep Grand Cherokee Review

It costs about the same to get the GMC Acadia to the dealership as the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Producing an accurate fuel economy evaluation is so difficult that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though both the GMC and the GMC perform approximately comparably in terms of fuel economy. When it comes to fuel economy, the GMC beats the Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Jeep Grand Cherokee isn't much less expensive than the GMC Acadia regarding MSRP.

Utility
Drivers with frequent kid-duty might favor the GMC Acadia over the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Towing is substantially more the Jeep's forte than it is the GMC Acadia's.

Convenience
You will definitely have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Jeep Grand Cherokee than with the GMC Acadia.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the GMC Acadia offers a bit more head room than the Grand Cherokee, there frankly isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the GMC Acadia offers a bit more head- and leg-room than the Grand Cherokee, there really isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
The Jeep Grand Cherokee's tank is roughly the same size as the GMC Acadia's, though the GMC Acadia's is somewhat bigger. The Jeep Grand Cherokee and the GMC Acadia compete for the same parking spaces. The Jeep Grand Cherokee's shorter wheelbase may produce a less-settled highway ride but a sprier feel in daily traffic than the GMC Acadia.

Handling
With its tighter turning circle, the Jeep is quite certainly more maneuverable than the GMC Acadia, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; however, bear in mind that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The GMC Acadia and the Jeep Grand Cherokee have similar-sized engines, with a slight advantage to the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the GMC Acadia is considerably more powerful than the Jeep Grand Cherokee.
