GMC Acadia vs. Honda Pilot Review

Utility
The GMC Acadia's more massive trunk will accommodate more massive things than the Pilot. Neither the GMC Acadia nor the Pilot has a marked advantage in terms of seating capacity.

Dimensions
The GMC is a bit heavier than the Honda Pilot. The Honda Pilot's tank is about the same size as the GMC Acadia's, though the GMC's is slightly larger. The Honda Pilot and the GMC Acadia compete for the same parking spaces. The Pilot's shorter wheelbase may produce a less-settled highway ride but a more agile feel in daily traffic than the Acadia.

Convenience
The Honda Pilot's fuel tank will need to be replenished somewhat more often than the unit in the GMC Acadia.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Pilot is significantly cheaper to get to the dealership than the GMC Acadia. In terms of gas mileage, the GMC Acadia is slightly better than the Honda Pilot, but not by much. When it comes to MSRP, the GMC Acadia costs roughly as much as the Pilot (though the Pilot is somewhat cheaper).

Handling
The GMC Acadia and the Honda Pilot have roughly similar tires. With their comparable turning radiuses, the Pilot and the GMC Acadia quite certainly handle approximately the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Honda Pilot and the Acadia have similar-sized engines, with a slight advantage to the Acadia. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the GMC Acadia isn't much more powerful than the Honda Pilot.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the GMC Acadia offers a bit more head room than the Honda Pilot, there really isn't much of a difference. The Honda Pilot is not particularly more spacious for your passengers than the GMC Acadia.

Overview
The Honda and the GMC Acadia have the same basic after-sale protection.
