GMC Acadia vs. GMC Yukon Review

Utility
Neither the GMC Yukon nor the Acadia has a marked advantage in terms of seating capacity. Towing is significantly more the Yukon's forte than it is the GMC Acadia's.

Dimensions
The GMC Yukon is significantly heavier than the GMC Acadia. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Yukon than the GMC Acadia because of its larger tank. The GMC Acadia and the GMC Yukon compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
The GMC Acadia's fuel tank will need to be replenished a little more often than the unit in the Yukon.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Acadia is substantially cheaper to get to the dealership than the GMC Yukon. There isn't much of a difference in gas mileage here, but if you must know, the GMC Acadia is somewhat more economical than the GMC Yukon. The GMC Acadia is substantially less expensive than the GMC Yukon regarding MSRP.

Handling
With their similar turning circles, the Yukon and the GMC Acadia definitely handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The GMC Yukon has a more sizeable engine than the GMC Acadia. Remember that smaller engines are often cheaper to fix, but a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the GMC Yukon is considerably more powerful than the GMC Acadia. The GMC Acadia could learn a lesson or two from the GMC Yukon with respect to pickup.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Yukon offers a bit more head room than the Acadia, there honestly isn't much of a difference. The GMC Yukon offers more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the GMC Acadia does.

Overview
The Acadia and the Yukon have the same basic warranty.
