GMC Acadia vs. Audi Q5 Review

Drivers with frequent kid-duty might favor the Acadia over the Audi Q5. Towing is significantly more the Audi's forte than it is the GMC Acadia's.

Dimensions
The Audi Q5's tank is approximately the same size as the Acadia's, though the GMC Acadia's is somewhat bigger. The Audi Q5 and the GMC compete for the same parking spaces. The GMC's longer wheelbase will likely result in a smoother, more stable ride; on the flip side, the Audi Q5 may give a nimbler feel in daily traffic.

Convenience
The Audi Q5's fuel tank will need to be replenished a little more often than the unit in the GMC Acadia.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the GMC Acadia to the dealership as the Audi Q5. The Audi Q5 won't save you much money at the pump compared to the Acadia. The Audi Q5 won't tax your gas budget considerably more than the Acadia will. Regarding MSRP, the GMC Acadia costs almost as much as the Audi Q5 (though the Audi Q5 is a little cheaper).

Handling
With their similar turning radii, the Audi Q5 and the GMC Acadia most definitely handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Audi Q5's engine is a bit smaller than the Acadia's, but not terribly so.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Audi Q5 offers a bit more head room than the Acadia, there frankly isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the Q5 provides a bit more head- and leg-room than the GMC Acadia, there frankly isn't much of a difference.

Warranty
The basic warranty that comes with the GMC isn't quite as generous as the Audi's.
