2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid Overview

Vehicle Overview
The Ford Fusion Hybrid is based on the Fusion midsize sedan and gets an EPA-estimated 47 mpg in combined city/highway driving. It also has a sleek design and many available driver-assist features. Competitors include hybrid versions of the Toyota Camry, Hyundai Sonata and Kia Optima as well as the diesel-powered Volkswagen Passat TDI.

Exterior Highlights
The Ford Fusion Hybrid sits on 17-inch alloy wheels, with 18-inch wheels available. Automatic headlights come standard with additional fog lights for upgrade. Additional features include power moonroof and rear spoiler.
 
Interior Highlights
The Fusion comes stock with a hybrid-specific gauge cluster, cruise control; adaptive cruise control available, and automatic air conditioning. It comes outfitted in cloth seats with leather available, and features a folding backseat. The MyFord Touch multimedia system and navigation system come additional.
 
Under the Hood

The Hybrid features a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and electric motor make a combined 188 horsepower. The engine features an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission with a lithium-ion battery powering the electric motor.

Safety Features
The Fusion Hybrid comes stock with antilock brakes and electronic stability system. Additional safety options include inflatable rear seat belts, lane departure warning and mitigation, blind spot warning system, and active park assist.
