2010 Ford F-450 Overview

The 2010 Ford F-450 offers a 300-horsepower, 5.4-liter V-8; a 362-horsepower, 6.8-liter V-10, and a 350-horsepower, 6.4-liter diesel V-8. These big motors are mated to a five- or six-speed automatic transmission. Payload capacity is a monstrous 5,830 to 6,180 pounds, and you can tow a fleet of vehicles with the 16,000 – 24,600 pound tow rating; the best equipped Dodge Ram and Chevrolet Silverado models don’t match that.
Inside the XL model of the 2010 Ford F-450 Super Duty is a set of vinyl-clad seats, plus air conditioning and a basic radio. Sirius Satellite Radio, CD player and navigation system are all optional. Step up to the XLT model and revel in the glory of premium cloth seats and remote power door locks. Choose from the optional navigation system, rearview camera, parking sensors and leather steering wheel. The Lariat trim features premium leather seats, dual zone climate control, wood-like dash trim and leather steering wheel. A power glass sunroof, TV, DVD entertainment system, navigation and a leather skin for the center console are optional.
The Ford Work Solutions package features an in-dash computer with high speed wireless accessories. This includes Cable Lock, which keeps the tools safe, while Tool Link™ works with you to keep track of your tools. Crew Chief™ telematics is your digital mechanic, as it communicates with other vehicles in your fleet so you know if they need servicing.
Safety features include antilock brakes, dual front airbags, and available traction control which help keep the driver in command so he can avoid accidents.
