2010 Ford F-150 Overview
The 2010 Ford F-150 is the truck from the truck leader. Best-in-class payload and tow capacity meet with the most innovative and modern electronics package available on a pickup to make one stellar workhorse.

The 2010 Ford F-150 offers three V-8s: a 4.6-liter two-valve, a 4.6-liter three-valve, or a 5.4-liter three-valve. The 4.6-liter, 248-horsepower two-valve achieves a 15 city/21 highway mpg rating in the two-door, six-speed, all-wheel drive regular cab configuration. The 4.6-liter three-valve boasts 292-horsepower, while the 5.4-liter three-valve V-8 churns out 310-horsepower, and drives the F-150 to best-in-class payload (3030 lb) and towing (11,300 lb) ratings with the proper options.

The 2010 F-150 comes with a list of configurations and options long enough to make your head spin, but are sure to give you the truck you need. The base XT model gives you a bare-bones work truck with a low price that makes it a sure winner. The top-of-the-line Premium package sweetens the deal with premium leather seats and other goodies. Two-door, extended cab, and four-door cabs offer the right amount of space for you and your family or work crew, and three bed lengths offer you the choice of the right amount of cargo space to get your job done.

Stretch your legs inside the spacious and versatile 2010 Ford F-150 with a class-leading 57.6 cubic feet of cargo room behind the front seats (on the SuperCrew model) and over 30 storage compartments! The F-150 offers the SYNC system, developed in partnership with Microsoft, which has voice-activated controls for music and navigation. A separate, optional SIRIUS Travel Link™ system provides real-time traffic updates and gas price updates from 120,000 gas stations.

The crown jewel of the 2010 Ford F-150’s interior, however, may be the Ford Work Solutions™ system, which runs off a dash-mounted computer with a Windows operating system. This equipment runs CrewChief© telematics, CableLock© by MasterLock™, and Tool Link© from DeWalt™ to enhance the F-150 as a work tool far beyond that of just a stuff-hauler.

When it comes to safety, the fully-boxed frame of the 2010 Ford F-150 is built to run through a brick wall, shake off the dust, and do it over again. The F-150’s electronic safety toolbox includes antilock brakes, traction and stability control systems, and trailer sway control, all standard. An integrated trailer brake controller is also available. Front, front side, and full-length head airbags protect occupants and help the F-150 achieve five-star crash ratings for front and side impact.

The 2010 Ford F-150 shows why the blue-oval brand is still the truck leader. From luxurious weekend toy-hauler to down and dirty grunt worker, the F-150 can be stretched, powered, and geared up to handle whatever you throw at it.
