Ford Expedition vs. Toyota Sequoia Review

Utility
The Toyota Sequoia is likely a better choice than the Ford Expedition when it comes to hauling capacity, especially if you often need to carry a lot of gear or large animals. Neither the Ford nor the Sequoia has a marked advantage in terms of seating capacity. The Ford Expedition outpulls the Toyota Sequoia by a massive margin.

Dimensions
The Ford is a tad heavier than the Toyota Sequoia. The Toyota Sequoia's tank is about the same size as the Expedition's, though the Ford's is a tad bigger. The Toyota Sequoia and the Ford Expedition compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
The Toyota Sequoia's fuel tank will need to be replenished a little more often than the unit in the Ford Expedition.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Toyota is quite a bit cheaper to get to the dealership than the Ford Expedition. The Ford Expedition won't tax your gasoline budget significantly more than the Toyota Sequoia will. The Ford Expedition won't save you much money at the pump compared to the Toyota Sequoia. The Toyota isn't much costlier than the Ford with respect to MSRP.

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the Ford Expedition and the Toyota Sequoia likely handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Ford Expedition has a bigger engine than the Toyota Sequoia. Remember that smaller engines are often cheaper to fix, but smaller engines can be stressed more. The Toyota Sequoia could learn a lesson or two from the Ford as far as torque. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Ford Expedition is significantly more powerful than the Sequoia.

Comfort
Taller drivers will substantially enjoy the extra head room in the Toyota Sequoia's front cabin compared to the Ford Expedition. While the rear of the Toyota Sequoia offers a bit more head- and leg-room than the Ford Expedition, there honestly isn't much of a difference.

Overview
The Sequoia and the Expedition have the same basic warranty.
