2010 Ford Expedition Overview
Combine Ford truck toughness, SUV functionality, best-in-class tow rating, and safety technologies and you get the 2010 Ford Expedition full-size SUV.

Available in XLT, Eddie Bauer, Limited and King Ranch series, and 4x2 and 4x4 configurations, the 2010 Ford Expedition is powered by a 310-horsepower, 5.4-liter flex-fuel V-8 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, and can tow up to a monstrous 9,200 lbs. The flex-fuel feature allows you to switch between regular gasoline and ethanol. The 2010 Ford Expedition offers competitive power and fuel economy at 14 mpg in the city and 20 mpg on the highway compared to Chevrolet Tahoe, Toyota Sequoia, and GMC Yukon.

Ford’s SYNC® voice-activated hands-free communications and entertainment system is a standard feature on Eddie Bauer, Limited and King Ranch trim levels. An available voice-activated navigation system with SIRIUS Travel Link allows you to access to information including current gas prices from approximately 120,000 filling stations, traffic reports, weather conditions, sports scores and movie listings. An auto-dimming rearview mirror and leather-wrapped steering wheel come standard, while a power moonroof, power running boards, power liftgate, heated and cooled front seats and DVD entertainment system are optional.

The 2010 Ford Expedition is loaded with standard safety features including trailer sway control, which works in conjunction with AdvanceTrac and roll stability control to apply the brakes or reduce engine torque in order to bring both the vehicle and trailer under control. Ford’s AdvanceTrac with RSC system utilizes a roll rate sensor to detect roll angle and will apply the brakes to one or more wheels or reduce engine power to counter a potential rollover. Ford’s SOS Post-Crash Alert System activates the horn and emergency flashers in the event of airbag deployment.

The 2010 Ford Expedition is quite a bargain when you factor in qualities such as Ford truck ruggedness, high-tech features such as Ford Sync®, and best-in-class safety and tow ratings.
