Ford Edge vs. Saturn OUTLOOK Review

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the Edge and the Saturn OUTLOOK definitely handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Saturn OUTLOOK's engine isn't much more sizeable than the Ford's. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Saturn OUTLOOK isn't much more powerful than the Ford Edge.

Utility
The Saturn OUTLOOK will most definitely prove more convenient than the Ford Edge for those of you with frequent kid-cargo.

Convenience
You'll likely take the Ford for a fill-up approximately as often as the Saturn OUTLOOK.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Saturn OUTLOOK offers a bit more head room than the Ford, there really isn't much of a difference. The Ford Edge provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Saturn OUTLOOK does.

Dimensions
Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the OUTLOOK than the Ford Edge because of its larger tank. The Ford Edge and the Saturn OUTLOOK compete for the same parking spaces. The Ford Edge's shorter wheelbase will give a more maneuverable feel in daily traffic. On the flip side, the Saturn is likely to have a smoother, more stable ride.

Cost
With respect to gas mileage, the Ford is a bit better than the Saturn OUTLOOK, but not by much. The Ford won't save you much money at the pump compared to the OUTLOOK. The Saturn OUTLOOK isn't much more expensive than the Edge as far as MSRP.

The Saturn and the Ford Edge have the same basic after-sale protection.
