The Edge's bigger trunk will accommodate more massive items than the H3. The Ford and the HUMMER H3 can accommodate the same number of passengers. There's no clear winner between the HUMMER and the Ford Edge in terms of transporting cargo. The HUMMER H3 outpulls the Edge by a large margin.

Dimensions
The HUMMER H3 is a bit more ponderous than the Ford Edge. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the HUMMER H3 than the Ford Edge because of its more capacious tank. The HUMMER H3 rides lower than the Ford Edge, which is a good thing for its center of gravity and ease of access. The Ford Edge and the HUMMER H3 compete for the same parking spaces.
