Ford Edge vs. GMC Envoy Review

The Envoy's more sizeable trunk will accommodate more massive things than the Ford Edge. Neither the GMC Envoy nor the Ford Edge has a marked advantage with respect to seating capacity. The Envoy is a better choice than the Ford Edge regarding transporting cargo, especially if you frequently need to carry a lot of suitcases or massive pets. The GMC Envoy outpulls the Edge by a sizeable margin.

Dimensions
The Envoy is a bit more ponderous than the Ford Edge. The Ford Edge's tank is approximately the same size as the GMC's, though the GMC's is a little bigger. The Ford Edge and the Envoy compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Ford Edge to the dealership as the GMC Envoy. The Ford Edge isn't much less costly than the GMC Envoy regarding MSRP.

Handling
The GMC Envoy and the Ford Edge have roughly comparable tires. With their comparable turning circles, the GMC Envoy and the Edge quite certainly handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The GMC's engine is quite a bit more sizeable than the Ford Edge's. Note that larger engines may use more gasoline than smaller ones. The Ford Edge has no lessons to learn regarding torque from the GMC Envoy.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the GMC Envoy offers a bit more head room than the Ford Edge, there honestly isn't much of a difference. The Ford Edge is not particularly roomier for your passengers than the GMC Envoy.
