As the most popular full-size van in America, the 2008 Ford E-Series undergoes its first redesign in about 16 years, with new brakes, steering components, suspension, and rugged front styling inspired by the F-Series Super Duty pickup truck.

The E-150 wagon is available in three trim levels – the well-equipped XL, the loaded XLT, and the luxurious XLT Premium Package. The standard 4.6 liter V8 engine offers 225 horsepower and decent hauling capability, while the 5.4 liter V8 pumps out 255 horsepower for additional thrust. For really serious towing duties, the optional 6.0 liter diesel V8 offers 235 horsepower and a prodigious 440 lb.-ft. of torque.

The E-150 comes well equipped, with seating for up to 8 passengers and up to 211.6 cubic feet of cargo space with the 1st and 2nd row seats removed. For added comfort, the available Quad Captain’s chairs with six-way power driver’s seat are the perfect compliment for your journey. In XLT Premium models, available leather seating surfaces offer a sweet touch of luxury to your drive. To keep rear-seat passengers thoroughly entertained, the available Rear Seat DVD Entertainment System offers a flip-down LCD screen for hours of enjoyment. For your listening pleasure, the optional Premium CD-6 stereo system includes six speakers and a 6-disc CD changer.

Safety features are superb, including a standard 4-wheel disc Anti-Lock Braking System that prevents wheel lockup and shortens stopping distances during hard braking. The convenient optional Reverse Sensing System alerts the driver to any objects behind the vehicle while backing up, helping to prevent potential parking lot mishaps. Standard dual front airbags help protect the driver and front passenger in a collision.

Voluminous cargo space, a variety of powerful engines, and updated styling make the 2008 Ford E-150 the front-runner in the full-size van market.
