2009 Ford E-350 Super Duty Overview
The 2009 Ford E-350 Super Duty is the perfect van for hauling up to 15 of your closest friends or towing up to 9,500 pounds of cargo. A redesigned version of the Econoline, the Ford E-350 is a great full-size van that offers comfort, amenities and most importantly, space.

The van is available in either passenger wagon or cargo versions. The passenger wagon is available in the base XL trim or the premium XLT Trim. While the XLT trim as a few more bells and whistles, its ultimate selling point is seating for 15 passengers.    Check out the cargo version of the vehicle available in commercial or recreational trims. The commercial trim has a whooping 275 cubic feet of storage space. Looking for even more room? An extended length version of the E-350 Super Duty is also available and measures at 216.7 inches.

A 5.4-liter V-8 (flexible) which can generate 255-horsepower comes standard under the hood of every Ford E-350 Super Duty. For an additional cost, get the 6.8-liter V-10 with even more power. The V-10 can reach 305-horsepower and has a mind blowing 420 pounds-per-foot of torque. Depending on the engine, 4-speed or 5-speed automatic transmissions with over drive are available.

Standard safety features abound on the newest Ford E-350 Super Duty. Even the base model comes with an oiler cooler, standard electronic throttle control, remote keyless entry, an ignition disable (by Securilock) and a low tire pressure monitor. Passenger models come with driver and passenger front-impact airbags.

While standard features include a 36 month warranty and air conditioning, power windows, locks and mirrors are optional. The E-350 is so technologically advanced that a mouse and printer can be hooked up to the optional in-dash computer and navigation system.

The 2009 Ford E-350 Super Duty measures up to its competitors the Chevrolet Express and Dodge Sprinter in price, fuel economy (13 mpg in the city and 17 mpg on the freeway), and options. Give the Ford E-350 Super Duty a look—it will be the most popular party van on the block.
