Dodge Viper vs. Saturn Sky Review

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, the Dodge Viper is a veritable sportscar. With respect to horsepower, the Dodge Viper packs quite a punch and will knock the Saturn Sky down a few rungs. On the flip side, keep in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Handling
The Viper has tremendously bigger tires than the Saturn. Keep in mind that wider tires may improve handling, while smaller tires might improve gas mileage. With its tighter turning circle, the Saturn Sky is doubtless more agile than the Dodge Viper, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; however, note that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Dodge's engine is tremendously more sizeable than the Saturn's. Note that more sizeable engines may use more gasoline than smaller ones. Torque equals pickup, and the Dodge will have picked up and gone by the time the Saturn finally gets moving. Taller drivers will substantially enjoy the extra head room in the Saturn Sky's front cabin compared to the Dodge.

The Dodge Viper is substantially more ponderous than the Saturn Sky. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Dodge than the Sky because of its larger tank. The Sky and the Dodge compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Sky is considerably cheaper to get to the dealership than the Dodge. As far as MSRP, the Viper costs tremendously more than the Saturn Sky. The Dodge Viper is tremendously costlier than the Saturn Sky as far as purchase cost.

The Dodge Viper and the Sky have the same basic after-sale protection. When it comes to after-sale protection against rust, the Saturn Sky has significantly better coverage than the Viper.
