Neither the Kia Sorento nor the Nitro has a marked advantage when it comes to seating capacity. There's no clear winner between the Kia Sorento and the Dodge Nitro as far as hauling capacity. The Kia Sorento outpulls the Dodge Nitro by a large margin.

The Kia Sorento is considerably more bulky than the Nitro. The Nitro's tank is about the same size as the Kia Sorento's, though the Sorento's is slightly bigger. The Nitro and the Sorento compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
You'll quite certainly take the Dodge Nitro for a fill-up about as often as the Kia Sorento.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the Dodge Nitro to the dealership as the Kia. The Dodge Nitro won't tax your gasoline budget considerably more than the Kia Sorento will. When it comes to MSRP, the Nitro doesn't cost much less than the Kia Sorento.
