With their comparable turning radii, the Hyundai Tucson and the Dodge Nitro definitely handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Dodge Nitro's engine is tremendously bigger than the Tucson's. Bear in mind that bigger engines may use more gas than smaller ones. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Dodge Nitro is tremendously more powerful than the Hyundai Tucson.

Utility
Neither the Hyundai nor the Nitro has a marked advantage in terms of seating capacity. Towing is considerably more the Dodge Nitro's forte than it is the Hyundai Tucson's.

Convenience
You quite certainly won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Dodge Nitro than with the Hyundai, because both offer comparable ranges.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Dodge Nitro offers a bit more head room than the Hyundai, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The Dodge provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Hyundai Tucson does.

The Hyundai Tucson's tank is about the same size as the Dodge Nitro's, though the Dodge Nitro's is a tad larger. The Hyundai Tucson and the Dodge Nitro compete for the same parking spaces.

The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the Dodge Nitro to the dealership as the Hyundai Tucson. The Nitro pales in comparison to the Tucson regarding gas mileage. The Nitro won't tax your gas budget substantially more than the Hyundai Tucson will. The Hyundai Tucson isn't much more expensive than the Dodge Nitro as far as MSRP.
