Drivetrain
The Nitro has a more sizeable engine than the Dodge Journey. Note that smaller engines are often cheaper to fix, but smaller engines can be stressed more. The Journey could learn a lesson or two from the Dodge Nitro as far as pickup. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Dodge Nitro is substantially more powerful than the Dodge Journey.

Utility
